If you are new here, I wanted to first thank you so much for joining me!

I’m Cayla, I’m a mom of 3, a paediatric sleep specialist and parent coach, and the founder of Sleeping Beauties 💕

I’ve introduced myself before, so here is a little more about me:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
✨I believe the sleep training industry pressures parents into going against their natural instincts in a way that can be detrimental to child development⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

✨I believe in families getting the sleep they need, without compromising on the parenting decisions they would make during the day⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

✨I believe that sleep training does not meet a child’s developmental or attachment needs, and that there are other ways to optimize a child’s sleep capabilities⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

✨I believe children have basic needs for attachment that must be met, and that parenting is a 24/7 job⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

✨I believe in the value of teaching children that having big emotions is normal, and that big emotions do not affect their invitation to exist in our presence⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

✨I believe in teaching children to develop resiliency through loving limits and the support of a caregiver, so that they are equipped to handle any situation as they grow and develop⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

✨I believe that dependence fosters independence and that parents have a responsibility to worry less about what they are told their child “should” do, and worry more about supporting their child’s unique needs ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I’m Cayla Solomon — a certified holistic sleep coach specialising in responsive, root-cause sleep support for babies, children, and adults. I work with families and individuals across Canada and worldwide, and I’ve spent years studying why the standard sleep training advice so often fails the people it’s supposed to help. My approach draws on sleep science, attachment research, and the conviction that understanding your body — or your child’s — is always the first step. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions, and I’m not afraid to say so.
