You know your baby best

I’ve seen a lot of posts lately from moms looking for reassurance that following their instincts is the right choice for their baby.

There is so much information available online, and so much unsolicited advice that is shared by well-meaning friends and family, that it can be difficult to remember that 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘣𝘢𝘣𝘺 𝘣𝘦𝘴𝘵.

The only good thing that can come from worrying that you aren’t doing things “right” is the fact that worrying means you care enough to be trusted to raise your child.

There is nothing wrong with reading, learning, and leaning on others. The important thing is to take the information you receive and evaluate whether or not it makes sense for you and your child. And, if it doesn’t fit, then bless and release.
