Exhaustion in the time of COVID

The truest words I’ve ever heard expressed about parenthood said that nothing in the entire world will give you as much joy, as much sadness and as much exhaustion as being a parent.

I think this is even more true in the context of the current world. Maybe I am biased, but I think covid has hit parents of young children particularly hard. We have been stretched far beyond our means, have had to learn entirely new skills on the fly (think homeschooling children in multiple grades without any background in teaching), and have had to do it all without our usual village of support.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Holistic Sleep Coach

I’m Cayla Solomon — a certified holistic sleep coach specialising in responsive, root-cause sleep support for babies, children, and adults. I work with families and individuals across Canada and worldwide, and I’ve spent years studying why the standard sleep training advice so often fails the people it’s supposed to help. My approach draws on sleep science, attachment research, and the conviction that understanding your body — or your child’s — is always the first step. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions, and I’m not afraid to say so.
