Support for new parents

These are all things that parents of young kids already know, but I think it’s an important reminder for those who may be a little further removed.

I know how easy it is to see things from the other side – that things do get better, they get easier, and that your time as an experienced parent (or grandparent) makes you want to swoop in and do it your way. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

But you were a new parent once too. And when you were, things were 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐝. What you needed was someone to tell you that everything was going to be okay; that you were doing a great job; that you knew your baby best, and that if you needed support, someone you trusted was there for you to lean on. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
